Über den Autor

Marcus Thein was born 1979 in Würzburg, Germany. He studied biology from 2000 to 2005 at the Bavarian Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg. From 2005 to 2008 he did his Ph.D. at the University Würzburg, with several research stays at the University in Umeå, Sweden. From 2008 to 2011 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute of Developmental Biology, Tübingen, Germany, and since 2011 he is a scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology in Stuttgart, Germany.
